APEX 4.0 How to use Custom Item Types, Websheets and Plugins

Practical Examples and 100% Hands On:
- Websheets is a new and easy way to get your content on the web. Regardless of the content type, it all can be integrated into a websheet application. Both the content and the structure are controlled by users. If you have the data you need within your database, expose it in a report or include that data on a page.
- Plug-Ins allow for the Application Express framework to be extended with custom item types, region types, application processes and Dynamic Actions. Once defined, plug-in based components are created and maintained very much like standard Application Express components.
- Custom Item Types are a new feature in APEX 4.0. They allow you to create your own item types and share those within other applications simply by downloading and uploading these plug-ins.
Learn about these three features in the APEX 4.0 in hands on sessions.
